FREE This half-day introductory course on Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) is intended for primary, intermediate, and secondary school teachers. This course will give you time to network with other schools in your local areas and to access useful support resources and agencies.

Course description
This FREE 3.5 hour course includes:
- Networking with other schools in your area
- Exploring the concept of comprehensive Relationship and Sexuality Education (RSE) including understanding the Ministry of Education's current RSE guidelines, consultation with the school community on RSE programmes, and supporting resources.
- Teaching tips and strategies for delivering comprehensive RSE, including an exploration of Family Planning's resource Navigating the Journey
- Group activities and information on sexuality and gender diversity, and how to navigate these topics in the classroom
- Practice responding to "tricky" questions in an age and stage appropriate way
- Recommended resources, support agencies and organisations

No prerequisites required. Suitable for primary, intermediate, and secondary school teachers.
