International News

Poster 1: Delaying sex

New posters aimed at reducing teenage pregnancies in Kiribati are the latest health promotion materials we have developed for the Kiribati Family Health Association (KFHA) under the Healthy Families Project.

The three messages on the posters were decided on by the KFHA youth volunteers.

Poster 1:

If you have sex, use condoms to prevent pregnancy and STIs/HIV.

Poster 2: Use condoms

Poster 2:

Wait until you are ready. There’s nothing wrong with saying ‘No’ if you don’t want to have sex.

Poster 3:

The Emergency Contraceptive Pill can be used up to 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy.

The posters were printed in New Zealand and are on their way to KFHA to be set up around the community.

Poster 3: Emergency Contraception Pill
