Mandatory parental notification

There has been a lot of discussion in the media recently about mandatory parental notification. Family Planning believes that confidentiality is important to young people, including sexual and reproductive health issues. Fear about lack of confidentiality is a major reason for young people being reluctant to seek help for a range of issues.
