Family Planning Health Promotion Director Frances Bird was on the Breakfast show this week talking with Petra Bagust about how sexuality education, at home and at school, can help young people make sense of what they’re seeing and give them the knowledge, skills, attitude and values for life.
Young people can be exposed to information on the internet, through music and DVDs, that they may not understand and which can give them unreasonable messages about sexuality, relationships and intimacy.
