Sexually Transmissible Infections
The Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR) is the national co-ordinating centre for sexually transmissible infection (STI) surveillance on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
ESR collates, checks, analyses and reports data from participating clinics and laboratories on the occurrence of STIs such as:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Syphilis
- Genital warts
- Genital herpes
- Non-specific urethritis
- Chancroid
- Granuloma unguinale
- Lymphogranuloma venereum
