The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is available at some of our clinics.
Certain types of the human papillomavirus (HPV) cause cervical cancer. This is one of the most preventable of all cancers.
Immunisation is available to protect women against the two most common types of HPV. It is most effective when given to younger women before they become sexually active.
Together, immunisation and cervical screening offer the most effective protection against cervical cancer.
A subsidy may apply for the HPV vaccine.
Our nurses and doctors can help you see if the vaccine is right for you and whether you are eligible for the subsidy.
