The national office of Family Planning is in Wellington. Members of our management team are based in Wellington or Auckland.

Family Planning Council
Family Planning Council is the governing body of Family Planning. It is made up of individuals who provide their time and resources voluntarily to Family Planning. The role of the Council is set out in the Constitution and includes:
- leading Family Planning and acting as the public face for the membership;
- formulating and monitoring the philosophical policy of Family Planning;
- approving and monitoring the strategic plan, business plan and the budget;
- overseeing the advocacy, marketing and ethical standards of Family Planning;
- approving applications for membership and reporting to the membership at the AGM;
- ensuring Family Planning remains financially viable; and
- advocacy.
Family Planning Council is elected from the membership of Family Planning every three years.
