Advice and supply of first time contraception as well as re-supply of contraception for men and women.

Complex Contraception

Advice for men and women who experience difficulty finding a suitable method of contraception.

Sexually Transmissible Infection (STI) Testing and Treatment

Routine testing for people with or without symptoms and treatment when required.

Cervical Smears

Screening for pre-cancerous changes in the cervix. Family Planning Clinics are linked to the National Cervical Screening Programme.

Pregnancy Tests

May include pregnancy options and referral as necessary, contraceptive advice, advice on conception.

Vasectomy

Outpatient sterilisation service for men using no scalpel technique. Includes pre-operation information session and post operation follow up when required.

Fertility Services

Advice and initial investigations for couples experiencing difficulty with conception.

Gynaecological Problems

Investigation and management of problems such as bleeding and pain and referral as necessary.

Pre-pregnancy Advice

Advice on what to do before starting a pregnancy.

Sexual Dysfunction/Issues

Men and women - discussion and referral for premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, low/mismatched libido and other sexual issues.

Child/Young Person Education

Clinical one to one education sessions (with or without parents) about physical and emotional development covering topics such as puberty, sex and contraception.
