Family Planning is a Registered Charity and relies on income from donations and membership subscriptions to fund some of our programmes, services and resource production.
For example, this type of non contractual income, allows us to invest in the research and development of new resources and enables us to have a policy and advocacy function. Family Planning regularly makes submissions on relevant Government legislation and advocates for increased funding to allow consistent access to sexual and reproductive health services throughout New Zealand.
In return for your support you’ll receive our newsletter, Forum, three times a year to keep you informed as to how you are making a difference, and you’ll have the opportunity to get more involved in our work, should you wish. If you choose to become a member then you can help shape our organisation by participating at our AGM.
